Open UPS roles you can start without experience

Most of these are Teamsters-represented union positions, which is where the benefits come from. UPS trains on the job, so prior warehouse or delivery experience is not required for the entry tiers.

Per the Teamsters national agreement and the UPS benefits page, union part-timers get healthcare with $0 in premiums (the same plan as full-timers), pension contributions, and the Earn & Learn program covering up to $25,000 in tuition assistance. Few logistics employers in the country offer that to a part-time hourly worker.

💡 Try this: Apply for overnight or twilight package handler shifts during the October-to-January peak. Those slots hire fastest, pay shift differential, and put you first in line for full-time driver bids that open in January. The part-time badge is the real prize because it unlocks the benefits and the internal transfer system.
